Transaction finality is the unchangeable confirmation of a transaction or block of transactions on a blockchain. Ripple Custody implements a probabilistic approach to transaction finality, which means it treats blockchain transactions as confirmed on creation of a sufficient number of blocks after the block of the transaction itself.

The values differ for every ledger. The following table describes the default values.
