Funding methods
Important
This guidance is provided for general informational purposes only and may not apply to you. Refer to your Ripple Payments Direct contract for specific terms applicable to your funding method and timelines, invoicing, and other applicable terms related to your access to Ripple Payments Direct and reach out to your Ripple liaison for any questions.
Ripple currently offers the following funding methods:
- Funded Payments , the default funding method for Ripple Payments Direct
- T+1 Invoicing
With the Funded Payments method, which is currently available to US customers only, you fund your payments by depositing funds to Ripple. Compared to the T+1 Invoicing method, Funded Payments enable you to onboard faster and process volumes over Ripple Payments without being limited by credit underwriting and credit limits.
Funding methods comparison
The following table compares the Funded Payments method with the T+1 Invoicing method. The availability of these funding methods is subject to completion of Ripple’s onboarding process and shall be determined by Ripple.
Funded Payments | T+1 Invoicing | |
