Activation fees

Some blockchains such as the XRP ledger require you to pay an activation fee before sending or receiving transactions.

  1. Select your desired keystore type (MPC or HSM)
MPC prerequisite

In order to be able to create an MPC wallet, you will need to first create an MPC Quorum in the ‘Controls’ section of the Wallet-as-a-Service (Palisade) platform. See our MPC quorums guide for more information.

  1. Click 'Create wallet'
  2. Transfer funds into your wallet (eg. via an exchange)

Enable outgoing transactions from a wallet

Once your wallet is created, it remains in a ‘deposit only’ state until the following three conditions are met:

  1. At least one asset has a policy applied A policy can be added from the 'Policies' tab within the wallet.
  2. At least one address has been added to the address book (only if transacting with an address external to Wallet-as-a-Service (Palisade))
  3. The wallet is enabled To enable a wallet, click ‘Enable transactions’.

Wallet settings

Wallet settings can be accessed via the ‘settings’ button in your wallet.

There are 3 categories of settings:

General settings

This is where you can view and copy:

  • Wallet ID
  • Vault ID
  • Wallet address
  • Wallet public key

Details settings

This is where you can edit the name and description of your wallet.

The name should help identify the wallet, whilst the description should make the purpose of the wallet clear.

Transactions settings

This is where you can configure transaction behavior for your wallet:

Outgoing transactions

Enable or disable the ability to transfer digital assets out of the wallet.

Raw signing

Enable or disable the ability to securely sign any transaction type available on a given blockchain. See our Raw Signing guide for important information about this feature.

Freeze transactions by default

Enable or disable automatic freezing of all incoming deposits. When enabled, all incoming transactions will be frozen immediately upon arrival and must be manually unfrozen before funds become available. This setting is useful for wallets requiring additional compliance oversight or review.

Sweeping Settings

This is where you can enable or disable sweeping for this wallet.

Delete a wallet

Coming soon

The Wallet-as-a-Service (Palisade) platform does not currently support the ability to delete wallets. This feature will be available soon.

API documentation
