# User management

User management in Wallet-as-a-Service (Palisade) allows you to control who has access to your organization and what actions they can perform. The platform provides a comprehensive role-based access control system that helps you maintain security while enabling your team to work efficiently.

## User roles

Wallet-as-a-Service (Palisade) provides six predefined user roles:

| Role | Description |
|  --- | --- |
| **Owner** | Full control over all aspects of the system |
| **Admin** | Manage most aspects including users, vaults, wallets, and settings |
| **Proposer** | Create and manage vaults, wallets, and transactions |
| **Approver** | Review and approve transactions and policy rules |
| **Viewer** | View-only access to vaults, wallets, and transactions |
| **Auditor** | Comprehensive view access for compliance and auditing |
