Controls in Wallet-as-a-Service (Palisade) provide security mechanisms to protect your digital assets through approvals and MPC quorums. These features ensure that critical operations require proper authorization before execution.
The Controls section of Wallet-as-a-Service (Palisade) includes two main features:
- Approvals - Require designated users to authorize transactions and other operations
- MPC quorums - Configure multi-party computation requirements for transaction signing
- Approval groups - Create groups of approvers for different operation types
- Configurable thresholds - Set the minimum number of approvals required
- Timeout settings - Define time windows for approval requests
- MPC security - Leverage multi-party computation for enhanced key security
- Set up approval groups for transaction authorization
- Configure MPC quorums for secure signing
Security best practices
We recommend requiring majority approval to account for user unavailability. For example, if an approval group has three approvers, set the required approvers to two.
