# Bitcoin native sweeping support

Wallet-as-a-Service (Palisade) now supports native BTC sweeping. Use asset sweeping to consolidate BTC from sweep-enabled Bitcoin wallets into a destination wallet on an hourly or daily schedule.

## What's new

- **Bitcoin sweep configurations**: Create a sweep configuration for Bitcoin from **Settings** > **Workflows**.
- **Native BTC asset sweeping**: Select **BTC** from the standard **Asset** dropdown and set the minimum BTC balance that triggers a sweep.
- **Fee wallet support**: Use a Bitcoin fee wallet to pay Bitcoin network fees for sweep transactions.
- **Sweep monitoring**: Review Bitcoin sweep instances and the BTC transactions Palisade creates for each run.


Bitcoin sweeps use Bitcoin's UTXO model. Palisade sweeps only confirmed, available source wallet balances.

## Availability

Palisade sweeps native BTC only. Palisade doesn't support Bitcoin token standards such as BRC-20, Ordinals, and Runes.

Use the existing asset sweeping setup flow to enable source wallets, select the **Deposit wallet**, select the **Fees wallet**, set the minimum amount, and configure the sweep frequency.
