# Quotes v3

Use these API operations to create and retrieve quotes with `/v3/quotes`. A quote collection contains one quote for each payment rail available for the corridor, and each quote names its payment rail. To request a quote for one payment rail only, include `paymentRail`.

Quotes are also available with `/v2/quotes`. To decide which version to use, see [Choose a quote version](/products/payments-direct-2/api-docs/developer-guides/choose-a-quote-version).
