# Change history New release management From version 1.13, the release management process is changing. For more information, see [Release management](/products/custody/v1.36/support/release-management#release-management). The latest platform version is: `v1.36` The latest API version is: `v1` ## Release history The following table lists the most recent release versions, along with their release type (LTS or STS), release date, end-of-support date, and a link to the Changelog for that version. Release types On-premise releases are *long-term support (LTS)* releases on a fixed schedule for on-premise customers, with a release cycle of approximately six months. SaaS releases are *short-term support (STS)* releases for customers accessing Ripple Custody via Ripple Cloud, and have a release cycle of approximately four weeks. On-premise (LTS) releases are synchronized with a specific SaaS release, and include the features of all the SaaS versions that were released since the previous on-premise (LTS) release. For example, on-premise customers who install LTS Version 1.19 also receive the features of STS Versions 1.16, 1.17, and 1.18. **Note:** The **Version** drop-down menu at the top of the left navigation bar lets you view the documentation for other release versions. It lists the latest two versions, as well as LTS versions going back to v1.15 LTS, but does not list inactive STS versions.
