# Add an exception for outgoing orders ![Beta](/assets/beta-label.9b17384c64e8fb7cb732f95290c8a2c0d60692664b94277dc09c2c605b8b07a9.319dc5f7.png)

Users with specific roles can create outgoing orders without automated compliance verification. The defined policy workflow may trigger a manual review, which requires one compliance manager for approval.

To add a policy exception for outgoing orders in your Elliptic or Chainalysis integration, complete these steps:

1. In the left navigation, select **Integrations** and on the tile for your compliance solution provider, select **Configure**.
2. In the Integration window, next to **Add exception for outgoing orders**, select **Start**.
The **Add exception for outgoing orders** window opens.

3. In the **Policy name** field, change the name to a unique name of your choosing.
4. In the **Condition** field, type a role name, for example **admin**, to specify which role may create outgoing orders without automated compliance verification.
5. In the **Role** field, select the number of users with the compliance-manager role (or admin role) that must review operations when a user with the specified role creates an outgoing order — for example **3** and **compliance-manager**.
6. *Optional:* If you wish to set up additional conditions that must be met for the review workflow, select **+ Add condition** and repeat step 5.
7. When you're done adding all conditions, select **Submit for approval**.
8. On your security device or the desktop app, sign the operation. For more information, see [Sign intents](/products/custody/v1.36/identity-and-access/authentication/ui-authentication#sign-ui-operations).
