Tokens are digital assets you can transact with on a blockchain ledger, such as ERC-20, ERC-721, and ERC-1155 tokens.
Ripple Custody uses an Allowlist-Only visibility model where only explicitly approved tokens are visible in the UI. This protects operators from spam and scam tokens.
| State | Description | Visibility |
|---|---|---|
| Allowlisted | Validated and approved | ✅ Visible in UI |
| Unclassified | Not yet reviewed | ❌ Hidden |
| Denylisted | Blocked from use | ❌ Hidden |
In this section you'll learn how to:
- View tokens by classification (Allowlisted, Unclassified, Denylisted)
- Allowlist tokens to make them visible in the UI
- Denylist unwanted or spam tokens
- Restore previously blocked tokens
- Add new tokens manually
Tokens that are not allowlisted are hidden from standard views but can still be accessed in the Token Management screen under the Unclassified or Denylisted tabs.
