# Validate assets

You can validate assets that you register manually, and also assets registered automatically by Ripple for incoming transactions.
You can validate multiple assets in the same operation.

You need to validate any assets that you want to use in a transfer order, but not in a transaction order. For more information, see [Send assets](/products/custody/v1.26/ui/accounting/send-assets).

## Validate an asset

To validate assets:

1. Navigate to **Assets**.
2. Select one or more assets to validate:
  - To validate a single asset:
    1. Click on the contextual menu at the end of the ticker.
    2. Select **Validate asset**.
  - To validate multiple assets:
    1. Click **Validate assets**.
    2. Select the tickers in the list.
    3. Click **Validate assets**.

The assets are validated when the intent is successfully executed.
