# Change history

New release management
From version 1.13, the release management process is changing.

## Release history

The following table lists the most recent release versions, along with their release date, release type, and end-of-support date.

On-premise releases are *long-term support* (*LTS*) releases on a fixed schedule for on-premise customers, with a release cycle of approximately six months.

SaaS releases are *short-term support* (*STS*) releases for customers accessing Ripple Custody via Ripple Cloud, and have a release cycle of approximately four weeks.

On-premise (LTS) releases are synchronized with a specific SaaS release, and include the features of all the SaaS versions that were released since the previous on-premise (LTS) release. For example, on-premise customers who install LTS Version 1.19 also receive the features of STS Versions 1.16, 1.17, and 1.18.
