# Cloud KMS

In this section you'll learn how to initialize your cloud KMS and connect it to Ripple Custody. These pages apply to the following cloud KMSs:

Multi-party computing (MPC) key management systems are currently only supported for selected customers. Contact your Ripple liaison for more information.

Initialization and connection of a cloud KMS involves the following steps:

1. Deployment and initialization of the KMS, according the vendor instructions.
2. Deployment of a vault.
