# Ripple Custody 1.22 (July 4, 2025)

Version 1.22 is a SaaS release and improves the indexing EVM ledgers, including dynamic ledger support for additional EVM ledgers, Arbitrum and Optimism.

## Ledger support

### Improved EVM indexer

Ripple Custody v1.22 introduces an improved indexer for Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) ledgers. This ensures real-time monitoring, transaction indexing, and historical data retrieval for EVM ledgers. This also allows you to add new EVM ledgers without the need to rebuild the Ledger accounting service.

For the list of supported EVM indexers, see [Supported blockchain ledgers](/products/custody/reference/supported-ledgers#ethereum-virtual-machine-evm-ledgers). For the payloads needed for adding or updating EVM ledgers, see [Dynamic ledgers payloads](/products/custody/accounts-and-assets/blockchains/dynamic-ledgers-payloads) and [Dynamic ledger payload reference](/products/custody/accounts-and-assets/blockchains/dynamic-ledgers-update-payloads).

### Support for Arbitrum and Optimism blockchains

With the improved EVM indexer, Ripple Custody now adds support for the [Arbitrum](https://arbitrum.io/) (ARB) and [Optimism](https://www.optimism.io/) (OP) blockchains. Both of these are Ethereum layer-two (L2) scaling solutions.

## Distribution and deployment

The 1.21 version will be progressively deployed across SaaS environments starting on July 4, 2025 with production environments scheduled for deployment on July 21, 2025.
